Leatherman Style CS

reviewed in September in the Leatherman style, a really nice keychain tool. While the style is very small, even smaller than the famous Victorinox Classic, the Style CS is slightly larger featuring a pair of larger, springloaded scissors and a carabiner to easily  attach it to a keychain. That is a real benefit over the Style, because most keychain tools are hard to use while attached to keys, so the easier they can be attached and removed, the easier they can be used in every day tasks.

The Style CS is a very useful tool, the blade is OK for EDC use, the nail file is really handy, tweezers are fine too. But the main tools are the really great scissors. The may be the best multitool scissors ever produced, very strong, very sharp and very easy to use.
So, in my opinion, the Style CS is a great tool, the best keychain tool I have used so far. They are great for EDC, and a really nice tool in a First Aid Kit or Bail Out Bag.

In September I presented here the Leatheman Style, a very small but still good keychain tool. Now comes the big brother, the style CS.
While the style itself to the small size on Victorinox Classic Style, the CS is much larger. This is due to the carabiner, which is the style-element on the tool that is reminiscent of the famous Skeletool, and probably the best innovation of the tool.

A tool that you are not used useless. Keyring are often difficult to use tools, because they are tricky to remove. Easy does it with the carbine, and to use the more comfortable a tool is, the more you use it.
The carabiner is therefore an asset to the tool, but not the only one. The large, sharp scissors deserves praise, it is the best multi-tool I've used the scissors.

The rest of the tools is average. do blade, nail file and tweezers what to include, but are not particularly good or bad. The blade is enough for many everyday tasks, I'd always bring a bigger knife. Sun 5-6cm my EDC should be minimum, is more rare, "must".

In sum, the style CS a very successful tool. Top EDC as very useful in the first aid kit and Bail Out Bag - the style CS makes almost everywhere good figure.
