I've also experienced. We have offices in Austria, buy and process the wool. There are a few mills produce, the Yarn, some small companies also produce wool quilts. With its expansion the felting has again produced a little more demand. Since I buy my wool for spinning, I can at least reasonably well to distinguish qualities. There will, which are really soft and fluffy. I will not stop knitting sweaters who scratches only. As Weber Spinner, the product must maintain a certain quality, otherwise it has no justification. As a craftsman you can cover a given segment and commercially, it must match the quality and design. The days when a hand-woven scarf in itself was particularly are over. Products must be worth the price, otherwise the price is not justified. What I am working on are turned yarn, paper yarn and probably Tweed yarns and how can I make "fantasy yarn in tissues advantage.
